Universitas Baiturrahmah (Unbrah) kembali menggelar kegiatan kajian Dhuha di Masjid Baiturrahmah pada Sabtu 09 Maret 2019 usai rehat selama dua bulan karena libur semester.
Pada Kajian Dhuha pertama tahun 2019, menghadirkan dosen Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Imam Bonjol sekaligus ulama Sumbar Dr. Urwatul Wusqo, Lc. MA yang membahas hadist Rasulullah SAW berkenaan tentang rasa malu.
Kegiatan yang dimulai pada pukul 08.30 WIB tersebut, Dr Urwatul Wusqo memaparkan tentang hadist Rasulullah yang berbunyi “Bila rasa malu tidak ada lagi dalam diri seseorang maka akan berbuat sekehendak hati”.

Terdapat dua hal utama yang dijelaskan berkaitan rasa malu tersebut yakni rasa malu tidak akan pernah mendatangkan sesuatu kecuali kebaikan. Serta Malu adalah cabang keimanan.
Menurut Dr Urwatul Wusqo bila dikaitkan dengan masa sekarang ini erat hubungannya dengan perilaku pergaulan bebas di kalangan muda.
Perbuatan seperti seks bebas, seks online dan tindakan negatif generasi milenia merupakan bentuk bahwa seseorang sudah tidak memiliki rasa malu.
Untuk itu guna menangkal tersebut, Islam telah mempunyai sistem guna menanggulangi tersebut sejak dini. Seperti menutup aurat setelah baligh.
Di sisi lain bila kaitannya dengan menambah ilmu pengetahuan, Dr. Urwatul Wusqo menjelaskan rasa malu wajib dipunyai semua umat yang beriman akan tetapi untuk menambah ilmu tidak boleh menumbuhkan rasa malu. Misalnya malu bertanya yang akhirnya sesat atau jalan-jalan.
Kedua konteks rasa malu tersebut harus menjadi pemikiran khususnya bagi mahasiswa dan dosen yang selalu menambah ilmu setiap harinya. Akan tetapi secara etika, rasa malu pada perbuatan tercela juga harus diprioritaskan.
Di akhir Kajian Dhuha dilaksanakan tanya jawab melalui pengumpulan pertanyaan lewat kertas yang dibagikan sebelum ceramah berlangsung.
Kajian Dhuha ini merupakan salah satu kegiatan rutin selama masa pembelajaran di Unbrah dan diperuntukkan bagi dosen, mahasiswa dan tenaga kependidikan.
Terkait ini Rektor Unbrah Prof. Dr. Ir. Musliar Kasim, MS menyebutkan kegiatan Kajian Dhuha dan Pemberhentian Kegiatan saat adzan berlangsung menjadi salah satu item dalam mewujudkan visi Unbrah dalam menghasilkan lulusan berakhlakul karimah.
